Post Of The Day

it's 10.42PM
ive been online the whole day.

listening to the same song over again and again from 1 in the evening
Koreans tend to sing with such a voice its different. Husky, depressing voice.
Hwanhee - Mine ( 환희 내사람)
Download it HERE

aiyo i have been cleaning my room for two days but it looks the same.

haiyo i just realised that 70% of my playlist are Korean, 20% Disneys, 10% Jay Chou.

omo.
its the least effort i can do in fear of forgetting Korean.

"그대 바라봐 도 될까요 안아봐도 될까요
그대 웃음이 멈추면 어쩌죠"

TOP SECRET CLUB

..that was what we called ourselves when we were younger.

i remember putting our tables together, folded a card and named it "TSC" - the Top Secret Club.

It wasnt like we had secrets or whatever I have no idea why we called ourselves that.
We were avid Powerpuff fans and I remember being rejected "membership" because I couldn't draw a perfect circle.

Pfft. I still can't.

Anyways, here are some pages I found myself drawing to at the age of 8. My dad passed some SSG exercise books to me that I forgot to take with me when we shifted so here are some hilarious, hideous drawing of mine that havent improved till today.

I still draw stickmen.

"Beauty looks like a(n) ugly lady in the mirror of cruel. But when she looked in the mirror of luck, her face is as beautiful as can be! What bad and good luck or ANYTHING!"

signed, !@$#!!$!
(I had a hard time creating a signature..still do)

"Cutey's Batey's opens the mail and can't believe her eyes! There's a letter for her - and it says she's won tons and tons of money! What luck!"
81 marks over 20,000 marks.

I graded myself pfft.

So this was Cutey Batey's.
and i just realised. my cousin brother scribbled on this page!! >:(

90 marks! Haha.
Below, it says Show Time 3.00PM.

Novembers Here!!

ITS NOVEMBER SOOOOOOOOON!

I love love love Novembers.
Because each time we'll have a family gathering themed party for my grandmother's party.

We have so many family themed parties its so funny.

This time for my Grandma's 80 it'll be Dress Up day.

Nick will be Jack Sparrow. Aunt Sharon and Egyptian lady. Jynn the cousin a sakai maybe?

What shall I be, what shall I be!
TELLLLL ME!

Anyong!

It was a very exhausting trip back from Korea but now I'm here in my own room resting, there's nothing much to complain about.

This time I decided to take Cathay Airways although I had to transit in between countries because it was way more economical compared to the direct flights available. That aside, it was pretty worth it. For direct flights like Korean Air/MAS we usually have one meal but we had about 3 meals for Cathay, in within 6 hours.

Yeay! You know how much effect it makes on me. Haha.

Lately, Ive been thinking.

Approximately how many rows of seats in a plane does the wing of the plane cover? Because I realize Im always assigned where the wing is and my pictures on board always turn out the same. Not that Im complaining though.

One thing about Korea, they're very particular about appearances, be it themselves, interiors, food packaging etc. Here's an example of a hair saloon. Really, the 2nd floor saloons you get here in KL is waaay plainer than this is. Tsk.

@ HongDae

funny spoon.

came here the other time but thought id take pictures anyways.

waffles these Koreans are almost crazy about haha. Its everywhere!
Good stuff though.

Notice how I don't take selfcams lately. Not my face.

It really wasn't that cold.
Not until the day I left.

I really like walking by this shop
Bye bye :(

why all your picture like that pfft.

One thing about Korea, human traffic is so organized you'd feel SO weird to even occupy the left side for two seconds.

Shorts so what! Im in boots yo.

Pretty autumn leaves in the campus I havent bid goodbye to!

My Harry Potter building!! /bawls

was waiting for my friends after class, saw this super mini bike that was no taller than my waist in orange

A Little Korean Entertainment :)

the other day I was hoping to get into Mnet Countdown but was denied entry as I had to get an album. the whole world knows I don't really get originals so I just shoved off the idea of entering but the very next day Yui called and told me she got us into private rehearsal of this other tv station featuring people like Wonder Girls, Lee Min Woo, Son Dam Bi, Solbi, Crown J, Seo In Young and...Rain.

So I thought why not, people back in KL paid a thousand bucks to watch Rain but if I was granted a chance to watch free..sure!

And so I got there and was so streesed because I didn't knew we weren't supposed to enter. We had to pretend like we were working there and stuff and was seated infront of approximately 16 rows of empty red seats, waiting to be filled in when the show starts 2 hours later.

and when the other people did their rehearsals,

Son Dam Bi

>:( Min Woo.
HMMM!

Tablo

I was looking forward into seeing this so called Asian Justin Timberlake and was brought to dissapointment when it was his call for rehearsals, he wasn't there. Instead a recorded performance showed to fill in his spot. So as I was watching the screen, it ended and as I was trying to rearrange my dissapointment, there he stood right infront of my eyes waiting for the next call for a ballad.

O____o

hmm, surprised that I wasnt starstruck or anything mostly maybe because I'm not a fan. but it was still nice getting too see someone who seemed to worth a thousand bucks to pay for previous during his concert in KL.

next up was the Wonder Girl's with nobody. You can see Seo In Young walking infront of us in the video too!

ok~ Hello from Korea by the way!

Star At First Sight

roughly about a year ago, I blogged about this Philippine girls who was featured in one of the Korean variety shows here. She wasn't famous or anything but she made a duet with one of my favorite voices doing A Whole New World so I thought she sung really well and she deserved to be given publicity.

hmm.
for those who recall who she was,
she's now under the managing hands of Oprah Winfrey after being discovered through the same vareity show, guest starred Celine Dion's concert at Madison Square, featured in Oprah Winfreys thrice, and performed in so many more other international class venues.

Got to meet Mariah Carey as well. :)
A true Cinderella story minus prince charming.

Here's a video of her performing in Celine Dion's concert.
Good stuff.

tsk. a little extra video for those interested. she was invited after Celine saw her doing this number.

Question!

Hello there,

"I Like To Move It, Move It with Madagascar 2!
"

I wanted to post all my pictures after I get back in KL but I have a question!

Was walking on the streets of Myeong Dong when I spotted from far this big black who was towering over the heads of many. Everybody turned heads looking at him from top to toe, so I thought I had to take a picture with him.

But when I asked for one, I was asked to pay (as a joke, perhaps!) by his company pfft so it hit me that he could be someone famous who plays basketball or something.

So tell me if you people know who :D

Just for the record, of course I didn't pay! Haha.

The First And Last Scrapbook.

my interests dont fade away easily.
they go, but they come back.

besides Vivien, I know nobody else!

I remember making my first scrapbook of at least 70 pages.
Filled with so many colors so bright I thought it was going to be my best project ever,.
Had no single idea what the song was about, only able to recognize the character "Me" from the songs.

I printed translations of every song that I liked, murmured to the pinyins, and started to learn Chinese for once.

Which I am very thankful for.
If I didn't do what I did, I'd have a hard time in Korea communicating with my Chinese friends.

The first time I knew of him, was the day I saw him, arm-length.
I later went home and looked up all his songs.

I was never one to buy originals for ANY artist before Blue, but I actually my first one with my savings. An album that I KNEW i would NEVER get to understand.
which led me to the scrapbook that I kept updating for about a year or so.

Coincidentally, there was a music project for finals when I was 14 where we were supposed to make scrape books of any musician.
Without a single thought, I handed in the scrapbook.

2 weeks later, I received my finals.
There was an extra 'A' in my report card.
Music.

But that wasn't what mattered.
It was never returned.

I still remember, there were 27 students in my class.
The day our projects were being returned,
Only 26 were given out.

I asked my music teacher for it, but she never gave two thoughts about it and said
"How I know!! Sweeping aunty threw it away I think!"

I spent a whole week grieving over the lost of my book, filled with pictures, notes, pinyins, and translations to every word of the lyrics. Everytime I am able to sing his songs, I remember of the book.

I didn't stop searching for it until I was in Form 4.
When the teacher shifted to the primary section.
She now lives 2 floors below me, in the same condominium.

I now own 10 albums.

9 of which were given to my as presents by really really nice friends who bothered to get those for me.
Actually, 8.

I bought my first one myself, and started receiving his other albums as gifts.
But I lost one in the middle, thinking the friend would be upset if he knew I lost it.
So I went to Jusco and bought one back with my months savings.

Amazing to find out i have a number of posts from way back when I started my blog till date somehow relating to him.
Here, here, here, here, and here.

Reveals the fangirl in me that I can be.
Tsk.
But hey,
I still dont scream or yell at concerts.
:D

Tomorrow, Tomorrow

On the shortest note again, I'm going back to Seoul.
Tomorrow.
More like today.
More like today but tomorrow.
More like early tomorrow but I plan to stay awake the whole day
So,
Tomorrow morning = Today.

You know how people pick fights.

F could be talking about their plans for an outing with B a little after twelve in the midnight. Then both of them start quarreling over when their outing really is?

F could say it's today because its after twelve
B could say its tomorrow because they're both not asleep.

"Today" or "Tomorrow".

It could be the same thing.
Haha.

Or maybe not.

Pants and Huffles

lately, blogger has been giving me the headaches.

refusing to sign me in, changing my alternate email addresses to primary, password errors.
and it shifts from IE to Mozilla or otherwise.

If IE leads me to the dashboard, Mozilla wouldnt. But if Mozilla finally gives in, IE kicks up again.
They really shouldn't treat such a loyal blogspot user like me with such ways!
Especially one who's paranoid and hysterical about almost any micromini matter.

Every time I fail to log in I can't help but suspect if somebody hacked into my account, then Id plot ways to tell my readers about it by spamming the tagboard etc. Little things like that.

or if I am now starting to suffer from Alzheimer and all that crap.

The reason why I'm here complaining about Blogger, is because...I get paid for complaining!
:D

Just joking pfft.

Waiting for YOUTUBE TO LOAD lah!

susah lah ini. lama sangat.

Purikura Update

hey people!

never thought the post below portrayed to be of a sad one but trust me, im an optimist in many ways, i do believe there are better things in stored for me. Just very much of a reminiscing fan.

its so nice that the friends I have in Korea are in a huger disbelief than I am and insist that they recheck my status repetitively, refreshing the page again and again. PMs be it through the phone, MSN, facebook. Thanks but I really am not depressed!

I see Korea as somewhere that was meant/fated for me to be at for some time alone away from the same old cycle back here in KL and it's just time for me to step away. But trust me, I know I'll be back there again someday. :')

I mean, there's nothing to rant about.

I believe there's always a bright side to everything so no sweat!
Now if you guys do feel sorry, WHO VOLUNTEERS TO FETCH ME TO COLLEGE locally!!

HAHAHA.
some funny pictures from the poor quality of scans.

Surprise, surprise.

Hey there.

Haven't been doing much as you can see with the lack of updates.

Possibly spending three quarters of the time at home doing the secret plan that's really not so secrety but I like to be mysterious that way. In fact, I actually wrote a post about the secret plan as I was quite surprised that people actually read my wordy posts and bother to ask about the "Secret Plan".

In fact, I have about 6 drafts in my dashboard unpublished, some posted but taken off perhaps hours later. I just deleted them all. There goes all the hours typing them lol. But, the secret plan post is still there! For those who are still curious, we'll see when the day comes! Just for the record, I think I'm progressing quite well. /smile

Sigh.

Anyways, everything changed at about five in the evening yesterday when I found out I could check my applicant status and see if I made it to the interview, but apparently I didn't. Which means I wouldn't be in Korea anymore for my tertiary studies.

That also means I will be going back to Korea (yeay) but just to pack up all my bags and say bye for the moment (sigh)

Was encouraged to wait another year, but I thought it would be a whole waste of time, I'd be 19 next year and I wouldn't want to graduate at mid 20s. So it's time I look up for local colleges I guess despite how much I'd hate to study locally due to current safety issues.

I really liked Korea though, wished I made the cut for the interview but I guess I didn't because it was one of the top 100 universities and I wasn't meant for prestigious institutes? I mean, who am I kidding, applicants were all straight A scholars and here I come in the middle with a couple of B's. I was never a very excellent scorer, you know.

Trying not to be too upset about it as well, on the brighter note, I can study in English? =/

Met wonderful people, the bus and subways I took everyday the way I never did in Malaysia, healthy grandmothers gossiping when I take walks myself up the hill, Myeong Dong chicken, the best cellphone number anyone can get, direction help from a then-trainee who is now on the charts, 7737, morning rush for classes, the only person in shorts during spring, visits to SM, riverside picnics, Sinchon, request for IDs, Mcountdown, middle aged men, random conversation starters, the RM 70 pizza for Merdeka, cycles in parks................

I guess, it was a once in a lifetime chance.
Even if I do get back, I'd perhaps not be able to do all of the above due to significant reasons. Just perhaps.

Well, at least I appreciated it when I did.

:)

"Korean girl" will now be officially "Malaysian girl" again.

yeay.
i guess.
