Umizaru. The movie is basically about 14 young men who want to be a part of the Japanese Coast Guard's elite team of slavage and rescue divers. Its a job full of responsibilities and could be fatal. This film charts the young men's brutal 50-day training period run by a super strict diver. In this movie, these men get paired up as "buddies" for each of their tasks underwater. Along the movie, lives are sacrificed and the heart moving togetherness afloats. Do watch it. There are hotties in it, mind you. :DI really encourage you readers to get on this movie because it really mirrors on how a friendship works. These days i see so many people running around using the word "yi-hei" (Chinese for friendship). I bet that they dont really see the true meaning. So i strongly recommend this movie. I really loved it. Part II's on the way. Can't wait.Oh and dog lovers. If you really DO care, and you want to take more notice and keep up with the SPCA. and im back from Shanghai. :D
so that explains my hiatus and im sorry for the irritation of no updates slapping ure face. i really dislike blogs which are not updated myself. so, ha! :D back to my Shanghai business, i have been there for 9 days and i am officially (or unoficially) getting a current chinese food phobia :( every 2-3 hours there'll be meals. thats what happens when u join tour groups. really. its so tiring to even LOOK at rice now. u feel your whole tummy overturning and having a massive war with 369 bombs. how bad is that? so serve me some western dishes, ill gobble them up :D im up for treats people! I DONT MIND PASTA! <3.>
there was this place we went. i dont know whats the place called but it is where one of the worst massacre happened. :( Placed somewhere in Nanjing, they displayed at least 70 bodies (skeletons) which were tortured back in 1934 by the Japanese. Goodness, the bones were still nailed to each other. No they arent made-displays. For real. How terrible, even infants as yound as 3 months were shot to death. Some lucky ones got to run away back then, and came out writing a testimonial on their cruelty. Pictures showing the head-chop "carnival" was HORRIBLE I TELL YOU. the head halfway hanging for the body. Some inside source took the pictures and sold them to the government for the museum. at least 30 000 victims lost their lives to these cruel army's. they took killing as a sport and there were still SMILES on their face when they were killing the poor Chinese villagers. Women were tied onto chairs, raped time after time. Long swords pressed into their vaginas. Eww, i know. and the question is -- why? Alot more. Theres this book named The Rape Of Nanking. Really want to get it but i heard it has been banned by the Malaysia government. How sad is that and how conservative can they get. Violent, i know but what the heck, these are knowledges. HISTORY.

Goodness. :(
Besides that, undergarments are aired everywhere. abit too public i must say. they spit everywhere. EVERYWHERE okay. even sometimes on your shoes, they dont care. They push u when they think you are blocking the way. You have to spare the WC's to them, its a MUST okay. Even when u are one person ahead. Not to say that they're washrooms are dirty la, but the odour. Enough to make you loose ure appetite. Seriously.
On top of the cons, Shanghai still has its pros. The buildings there are so cute! Especially the Shanghai Tower. Hahaha, the elevator's really quick. They can reach 263 levels within 40 seconds. cant really remember. and there will be this living radio (some lady la) in the elevator greeting the visitors with simple introductions. Hahaha, they have this special tune in their voices. I nearly wanted to burst in laughter but it would be very rude. So, i actually giggled abit and looked away. But ah, the buildings really cute. But i still think our very own Petronas Twin Towers are more impressive. :D Still, the Menara KL tower has to lose to the Shanghai one. Our KL Tower's too dull. Really, im sorry but seriously. ;P
They have the most extraordinary English there. Never fails to raise my eyebrow. Sometimes you dont even get what are they trying to say. :D

Then they have the very impressive lightings along the sidewalk and stuff. Its really so much more colourful than our very own Bukit Bintang i must say. So full of different shades making the whole city so much more wonderful :D Oh and theres this christmas tree disaplying chinese new year decos! Haha so very cute. Not forgetting the very huge Coke. Everything they have there is so unusual, so..free. Sigh.

and then there was this trip to the jewellery factory. an amazing experience im telling you. as usual we were being taken to a room for some simple breifing on jewelleries. haflway through, they found out that we were from Malaysia and were "fakely" surprised with some omigoshes behind. Soon, we were told that they were indirectly working for us as one of their shareholders' is a Malaysian. They then summoned the fella in and the workers all acted as if he was going to gobble their heads up. So, the fella came in and expressed his excitement as this was his first time meeting Malaysians there as he was rarely in the factory. He soon got so super cuckoo in the brain (or was it some business scheme) that he actually brought us up to this room introducing super expensive sets giving us at least 70-80% discount. There was this set costing around 7k which he offered to us for 1.5k only. He even gave each of us some 200 buck crystal, for free. anything below 200 he actually wanted to let us TAKE. But we were all so afraid and surprised with his kebaikan that we ran off asap. :P
Oh and they had soo many Jay merchandise over there!. From chips to clothes. T.T I bought all his food but they actually turned out pretty badOKAY LA. =/
